My Alma Mater

I graduated from Rangeview way back in the 90's.  So, I enjoy it whenever I shoot any of their games. I shot their softball game against Brighton on Tuesday and Brighton played very well. Sometimes it is not the action photos that tell the story best, but the reaction photos. I took this photo right after Brighton won 18-0. The look on # 11's face tells the story.

Grandview vs Fort Collins football

I love shooting football. It is not only the action that I love capturing. It's the fans. It's the cheerleaders. It's the reaction of the players when they lose, or better yet, when they win. It is also the interaction between the people at the game. In this photo Grandview's principal talks with Katelyn Kelly and Meghan Thompson before the start of the game against Fort Collins High School. Grandview won the bout, but I like the story this photo tells.

IKEA

Today, Brandon and I went to tour the site of the new IKEA store in Centennial. I am a big fan of IKEA and especially Swedish meatballs, so I was a little excited. The site itself seemed like any other construction site except for the fact that it was enormous. This photo of rebar lying at the construction will probably not make it into print, but there are cool lines.
